Welcome to McMullen Fish House, A neighborhood seafood market that focuses on providing fresh, locally sourced fish. The Fish House offers a variety of fish from mullet to grouper, caught by local fishermen. Not only does the market provide fresh fish but also live bait and tackle. We are a family owned and operated small business, founded by two brothers. Our goal is to supply downtown St. Pete and the Southside with a one stop shop for all of your fish needs. As a veteran owned business we are thrilled to offer an exclusive discount to fellow veterans.
The McMullen brothers have plans to incorporate a neighborhood cafe centered around fresh seafood.
A Bit About Us

Residing in the community since 1981, our roots trace back to 5th Ave S, the very location now occupied by the USF soccer field. During our formative years, we spent countless hours fishing the stretch from the pier to the rockpile at Lassing Park. Our cherished memories include casting nets from Thrill Hill during the annual mullet runs, accompanied by our grandfather and father. Whether chasing snook down Salt Creek or making regular visits to Dale and Larry's bait shop just 12 blocks from our home, we cultivated a deep connection to our surroundings. When the opportunity arose to take over the bait shop, we eagerly seized it.
